Compulsory jet ski training — US$95 per driver. Anyone wishing to drive must successfully complete our training programme beforehand, including a land-based safety briefing and supervised practical jet ski session.
For example, a couple wishing to share the driving pays US$740 in total, including training for both guests.
Prefer to leave the driving to a professional? Relax and enjoy your private guided expedition with an experienced jet ski pilot at the controls.
This exclusive option accommodates two guests and includes your professional pilot, allowing both guests the opportunity to enter the water together and snorkel alongside whale sharks under the supervision of our divemaster, when sea conditions permit.

An important advantage for marine wildlife is their enclosed jet-propulsion system. Unlike conventional propeller-driven boats, our Yamaha jet skis have no exposed rotating propellers, eliminating the danger of an exposed propeller striking a whale shark, dolphin or other marine animal.
Combined with our experienced marine guides, careful navigation and responsible wildlife-viewing practices, these specially selected jet skis allow us to offer an exciting and conservation-conscious alternative to traditional boat safaris.

Responsible Whale Shark Snorkelling in Kenya

Snorkellers must maintain a minimum distance of 3 metres from whale sharks, never touch or chase them, and follow the instructions of our experienced marine team.
